OtisHealth is first in the country to launch individual queries on the new national network!

History made today!!! OtisHealth processed THE FIRST patient direct request for their records on the new TEFCA national network.

This is thanks to our digital health colleagues at Health Gorilla, ID.me, and the KONZA National Network.

The Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) was just signed this week.  As the full network goes live, patients will be able to collect their record from all their providers with one request.  This is known as Individual Access Services (IAS).

Thank you Micky TripathiSteven Lane, MD, MPHLaura McCrary Ed.DSteve Yaskin, and Blake Hall for your leadership and commitment to make this day a reality.

Thank you Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for your staff’s amazing work. Thank you to the Sequoia Project for your driving this endeavor.

We will post our broader plans for TEFCA in the coming weeks.
